Indoor air quality is one of ASHRAE member's most important responsibilities.  The April chapter meeting provides participants an overview of how to design for proper indoor air quality.  Please plan to attend.

The Chapter Technology Transfer Committee wants to make chapter meetings more accessible by experimenting with transmitting the presentation as a Webinar.  If you cannot attend in person, please consider registering as a free Webinar participant.  It is anticipated that the speaker's PowerPoint presentation will appear on your computer and the audio will either be transmitted through the computer or via teleconference.  There is no assurance the Webinare will work, but your participation in the expericnec would be greatly appreciated.

Speaker Biogrophy:

Nick Agopian is Vice President of Sales and Marketing at RenewAire, a pioneer in enhancing indoor air quality in every type of home and building through high-efficiency, enthalpic-core, static-plate Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs). With over 30 years of HVAC and energy-recovery experience, Agopian sets the company’s strategic vision, leads all sales and marketing efforts and manages a comprehensive team of regional sales directors, technical sales support staff, commissioned manufacturers’ representatives, wholesale distributors and marketers.

 

Prior to joining RenewAire in 2014, Agopian held high-level positions at several top HVAC corporations, where he expanded his robust industry knowledge and expertise. He was Vice President of Business Development at Circul-Aire, Inc., Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Dectron Internationale and President and General Manager at SEMCO, a FläktWoods company. In all those executive roles, he oversaw multiple global sales offices, established new distribution networks, furthered product innovations and drove consistent revenue growth.

 

Agopian is extremely involved in the engineering and HVAC communities. He’s an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) since 1983, where he sits on numerous technical committees.

He’s also part of The International Society of Automation (ISA), the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Greenbuild and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Canada. Additionally, he served on the Board of Directors for the Missouri Innovation Center’s Life Sciences Business Incubator.

 

A committed lifelong learner, Agopian received a B.A. in Mechanical Systems Engineering from Vanier College, Quebec, Canada, McGill University’s Faculty of Management and recently completed a Global M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He has lived and traveled across the world, and is fluent in English, French.
