AIA Houston + 2030 Kickoff:

The 2030 Challenge- 1.5 AIA SD/GBCI

 

Program Description: 

Come for the wine, stay for the education! A short social followed by a 1.5 hr CE overview of the AIA+2030 ten-part CE course coming this fall. Speakers are Filo Castore, Amanda Tullos and Lisa Rosenow. 

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify strategies to reach the current 2030 challange of 60% reduction in fossil fuel greenhouse gas emissions
  • Expand AIA+2030’s reach and resources to fuel continual improvement
  • Identify how the Integrated Design Process is a  means of testing multidisciplinary impacts of design decisions prior to implementing them 
  • Explore how the Integrated Design Process helps to avoid missed opportunities and unforeseen circumstances or conditions.

 

The first half hour of the event will be dedicated to networking and open discussion. The presentation will begin at 5:30 and run about an hour & a half. The presentation is a preview to the 2030 Program.  To learn more about 2030, please visit our website.
