Distributive Pumping Presentation Abstract

Distributive pumping can offer designers several advantages over traditional Primary-Secondary systems by allowing the application of smaller pumps and horsepower’s, resulting in a lower capital investment and energy consumption. The design and application of this approach however has important aspects that need to be considered and evaluated.

In this session, we will address how to:
- Identify distributive piped hydronic water systems.
- Understand the concept of shared pipe.
- Create a Primary-Secondary equivalent.
- Identify distributive piped applications.
- Understand the benefits and cautions associated with distributive piped systems.
